Food traceability
A food business must know where the food on its premises came from and hold a recall system. Standard 3.2.2 carries the receipt and recall obligations, and the records it lists run to supplier and customer details, lot and batch numbers, dates, quantities, ingredients and packaging.

Food safety management
Standard 3.2.2A took effect in December 2023 and applies to businesses handling unpackaged, potentially hazardous ready-to-eat food, which can include a manufacturer with a repack line. It requires a certified Food Safety Supervisor and trained food handlers. A Category One business keeps records of the critical controls on receiving, storing, processing, transporting and cleaning.

Steel certification
ACRS certifies reinforcing and structural steel against 23 steel and design standards, among them AS/NZS 1163:2016, AS/NZS 3678:2016 and AS/NZS 3679.1:2016. It exists because of problems in steel supply, including inadequate traceability and false supporting documentation. The scheme covers traders, distributors and retailers as well as the mill.

Building product conformance
NCC 2025 is the current edition of the National Construction Code. The code's own site lists non-conforming building products as its own category, next to the WaterMark scheme for plumbing products and CodeMark certification. A building product manufacturer keeps a record of which product, which batch and which certificate went into which building.

Health monitoring
A business must provide health monitoring, supervised by a registered medical practitioner, to workers at significant risk from a hazardous chemical listed in Schedule 14 of the WHS Regulations. The Queensland regulation keeps those records for 30 years and notifiable incident records for five. The hazardous chemicals register carries no fixed retention period at all.

Our ERP is old. Is that a problem?
Rarely a blocker. Most systems can be read from and written to, even older ones. We will tell you in discovery if the ERP itself is the constraint. We do not build something that papers over it.
Can AI price our custom work?
It can draft the price from drawings, specs and your own cost history. Your estimator owns the final number. What changes is the time it takes to get to a number worth reviewing, and the consistency between estimators.
