Rates pulled from the jobs you priced and won, per client type, with the source job shown beside each one. Current supplier and subcontractor pricing where you have it.
Drafts in your template
The estimate lands in the format the client asked for, whether that is your own template or a head contractor schedule. Reformatting the same scope for every client stops.
Estimates from a phone
For smaller jobs, a site lead sends a description and photos to WhatsApp and gets a draft estimate back from your cost catalogue for review. No desk required.

As accurate as the history it is built on. Pricing drawn from your own won jobs and current supplier rates is far more reliable than a generic database. Every setup is tested against your past jobs before it goes live so you know its error rate, and the estimator reviews every draft.
What is the best AI for construction estimating?
For a small builder doing common work, a product with AI built in, such as Buildxact or CostX, is the right first step. For a business with its own cost catalogues, several client formats and years of priced jobs, a build on your own data beats any product. It uses your own rates and margins.
Does AI estimating replace the estimator?
No. It replaces the measuring and retyping. The estimator still prices risk, reads the client and owns the number. Businesses that set this up typically price more tenders with the same team rather than fewer people.
